Necessary functions

Reader resources and operations you request are separate from optional statistics. If you dismiss a service announcement, this device remembers its identifier so it does not appear again.

We set no cookies on the first visit. The license code and device identity, stored in the browser, let you reuse a license. The purchase attempt stays in the browser session. Only when payment starts on Stripe can Stripe set cookies on its own site, and the browser keeps the temporary local document copy. The PWA stores public resources for offline use, not documents.

Anonymous conversion total

Files stay in your browser. After the first successful export of a document, the browser sends an anonymous request that adds 1 to a lifetime total. The request contains no file, name or identifier. The counter does not retain IP addresses or identifiers. To limit abuse, a hash of the IP address is held only in memory for about one minute. The total is approximate and reported by browsers. This counter uses no cookies or tracking.
